This whiskey smash is a study in contrasts - Irish whiskey's honey and vanilla notes  matches with bright citrus, while fresh, cooling mint meets spicy, green chile. 

Ingredients:

• ½ oz 
• 1½ oz Irish whiskey
• ½ oz Ancho Reyes Verde
• ¾ oz lime juice
• 4-6 fresh mint leaves

Instructions:

• Muddle mint and syrup in a cocktail shaker
• Add remaining ingredients with ice and shake hard for 10 seconds
• Strain into a chilled rocks glass
• garnish with a Fresh mint sprig and lime wedge
